2010 Starlight Cinema 5K Series

Taupo Harriers, incorporating Walkers and Joggers, fostering running and walking as healthy activities and high profile sports in the community. The club meets during the winter months (April - September). On Saturday afternoon we meet at 1.30 pm at our clubrooms for an organised programme of runs and walks. We also meet on Tuesday evening at 5.30 pm, also at the clubrooms, for a varied, social run on lit footpaths within Taupo In June or July we organise the extremely popular North Island Cross Country Championships (NIXCC) at Spa Park. This event attracts more than 600 of New Zealand's top cross country runners and is regarded as one of the best events of it's kind anywhere in New Zealand.  On Wednesday evenings during the summer we have a 5k series in the centre of Taupo.
